Training philosophy

Rob Solly combines 34 years of athletic experience with over a decade of elite S&C coaching to deliver a movement-first, biomechanics-driven approach. Never relying on generic templates or short-term fixes, he engineers individualised programs built for lifetime structural integrity.

This framework has made him the trusted coach to the UK's top artists, presenters, and high-performance individuals—guiding them through world tours, complex rehab, and high-pressure careers with an extraordinary 10-to-12-year client retention record.

As a 360° Performance Director, Rob manages total physical longevity—uniting bespoke strength loading, biometric data, and multidisciplinary medical oversight (leading MDs, physios, and nutritionists) to keep his clients operating at their peak.

51.9 kg in 9 Months | Natural S&C & Behavioral Tracking

I started training with Rob in November 2025, doing two sessions a week, and what a journey it’s been! Every session is well planned, and Rob is always bringing in new exercises to keep things challenging and interesting. He has also put together a diet plan and supplement programme to support my goals. It all started on the VertiClimb machine, which at the time felt like absolute hell — but now, unbelievably, I actually enjoy it! After just 9 months of working so far together, I’ve achieved something I never thought I would, 50kg weight loss!  Not only have I lost 50kg, but I’m also fitter, stronger and healthier than I have ever been in my life. One of the things I appreciate most about Rob is that he’s always there when you need him. He’s so easy to contact, whether it’s about training, nutrition, motivation or just having a bad day and needing a bit of encouragement.  And although I started out with him as my personal trainer, I can honestly say he’s become a great friend along the way. I genuinely really like him as a person, and I think that’s a huge part of why I’ve enjoyed the journey so much. He knows when to push me, when to encourage me and, importantly, when to have a laugh with me. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with how far I’ve come, and a huge thank you to Rob for all the planning, support, encouragement and for pushing me when I needed it. If you’re thinking about starting your own fitness journey, I honestly couldn’t recommend Rob enough.
